Since the camera crew is walking down the street, it should be easy to tell who’s who by the way, but that’s not my experience. As the house is about to be built, you have a lot of choices.

She will be wearing a long, flowing robe that hides her face, and she will be carrying a large, silver bucket full of water and a towel. You can’t see her face, but there is a small silver plaque inside the house that has your name on it. You can walk up to the house and knock on the door, but if you do this you will lose your opportunity to enter the house.
I have never seen this house before, and I have little interest in the woman, but I agree with the OP, because it’s not a good idea to knock on the door.

Yes, this is a good idea. It is one of the biggest problems with the idea of “home ownership”. To some people, they think, “If I’m not renting a house, then I’ve got no reason to own a house.” That is a pretty ridiculous reason to own a house.
In a lot of ways that is true. However, in a lot of ways, owning a home is really not much different than renting. For instance, if you are moving, then you have to decide what to do with your belongings. You also have to decide if you want to just give the stuff away or make a house out of your belongings. And then you have to decide what to do with all that stuff, if you want to sell it, or if you want to keep it.

It also gives you the ability to make money on the side by renting out your house. Renting a house is the easiest way to make money with a lot less effort. You rent a house, then you can put your rent money into the bank or in an investment account.
The easiest way to make money from a house is by renting it out. But renting a house is a bit like a real estate agent. You can do this even if you are not looking to sell your house. If you have a strong desire to build a small business, or to start up an artisanal business, or just to just make money, then renting a house is an option.
