I’ve been to many places in India. We’ve spent time on our plane in Mumbai and the airport in Delhi. We also spend time on our travel itineraries in Pakistan. We spend time on our tours in Afghanistan, India, Kashmir, and the Indian subcontinent. I’ve visited many of the major tourist destinations in India such as Karachi, Delhi, Lahore, and the Punjab.
I don’t really worry about how many minutes it will take me to reach my destination, but I do worry about the time it will take me to get there. I’ve had a number of flights that took me hours longer than they should have done, and I have heard horror stories about the same happening. The number one thing I look out for when flying is the experience of the airline customer service staff.
The thing about flying is that the people who are going to have the most experience with the flight are going to be the people who give the most problems. My favorite flight attendant is a retired flight attendant who is always smiling and is easy to talk to. He recently told me he would never fly with a business class seat again.
The thing about the new Boston to Delhi flights is that they are a hybrid of long-haul and regional airlines. In the short-haul sense, they are a regional carrier. In the long-haul sense, they are a regional carrier with an option to buy a long-haul ticket and then switch to a regional brand. Boston to Delhi is an option. It’s the most expensive option on the route.

On top of that, the trains are faster and cheaper than the planes. Since there are actually no major cities in India, you can fly anywhere you want in about 2-3 hours, and the trains make it even quicker.
