I’ve always found it interesting that people of color are treated differently in many aspects of society, but not in grooming. Just because you’re not the average black woman, you’re not in the same situation as the average black man. But you don’t get treated the same way, especially when it comes to grooming. The fact that you’re black but have dark hair, dark skin, and dark eyes doesn’t mean you’re any less deserving of your fair share of care.
The concept of blackstone men is a bit of a long-standing one in the community. The fact that the community has put so much effort into grooming people of color over the years, and that its the same men of color who’ve been the best at it all the years, is pretty impressive. But in the men of blackstone, youre not the average black man anymore. Youre one of the elite.
In blackstone, it’s not the hair or the skin that are the important things, but the personality and the way you treat people. When you groom the average black man, youre going to be more or less the exact same person that the average black man would be in any other situation. If youre not careful, you could be acting more like a white supremacist than a black supremacist.
